11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 – NASB)

We all call upon God for different reasons. At times that we are in distress, we call upon God. At times that we find no help, we call upon God. At times that we get stuck, we call upon God. At times that we want to give up, we call upon God. Why do we call upon God in the first place? Do we truly believe God is the way out and indeed is the ONLY way out? If we do, why do worries and anxieties still haunt us? God plans to give us future and hope. God is here to listen. God is here to be sought and found. God gives us promises to be claimed. We need to learn to search for God with all our hearts and claim His promises. So, we can truly live a life that God has promised. God is not an alternative. All of our hearts should be captivated by Him alone.
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)
