Juan 8:25-30
25 —¿Y quién eres? —preguntaron.
—El que siempre dije que era. 26 Tengo mucho para decir acerca de ustedes y mucho para condenar, pero no lo haré. Pues digo sólo lo que oí del que me envió, y él es totalmente veraz.
27 Pero ellos seguían sin entender que les hablaba de su Padre.
28 Por eso Jesús dijo: «Cuando hayan levantado al Hijo del Hombre en la cruz, entonces comprenderán que Yo Soy. Yo no hago nada por mi cuenta, sino que digo únicamente lo que el Padre me enseñó. 29 Y el que me envió está conmigo, no me ha abandonado. Pues siempre hago lo que a él le agrada».
30 Entonces muchos de los que oyeron sus palabras creyeron en él.
Jesus dijo: “Tengo mucho para decir acerca de ustedes y mucho para condenar, pero no lo haré. Pues digo sólo lo que oí del que me envió, y él es totalmente veraz.” El tiene todo el derecho y poder de juzgarnos y condenarnos y nosotros merecíamos Su condenación por los pecados que llevábamos. Sin embargo, El no lo hizo. Al contrario, dio todo de sí para rescatarnos del castigo del pecado.
John 8:25-30
25 “Who are you?” they demanded.
Jesus replied, “The one I have always claimed to be. 26 I have much to say about you and much to condemn, but I won’t. For I say only what I have heard from the one who sent me, and he is completely truthful.” 27 But they still didn’t understand that he was talking about his Father.
28 So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man on the cross, then you will understand that I Am he.[b] I do nothing on my own but say only what the Father taught me.29 And the one who sent me is with me—he has not deserted me. For I always do what pleases him.” 30 Then many who heard him say these things believed in him.
